Part of the decision for Unipheye Music to provide the majority of product via computer download was not only a response to the currently ever-shifting market demands for contemporary delivery methods, but it was also very much our environmental consciousness and our drive towards both environmental sustainability as well as a substantially reduced carbon footprint. Delivering product via computer download eliminates our consumption of the raw materials used in the process of manufacturing compact discs, the plastic jewel-cases used to store them, the inks and paper used to print them, the plastic shrink-wrap used to envelope them, and finally the manufacture of the mechanical machinery used to do all of the above.
