Our constant thirst for new music has brought us The Karp Segall Experiment; a thirty-year semi-acoustic alternative jazz collaboration between two extraordinary players who play across the boundaries of genre and style to express freely with guitar and percussion.
If part of jazz is breaking new ground and truly going to new places, nothing that TKSE does should be missed. This is definitely not formulaic jazz. These two absolutely have something to say.
This session finds a bass player sitting in. A new player always changes the complexion and interaction; growth and travel to new musical places occurs. Hear the wonderful results. We are extremely proud of this recording and this performance.
