Elkins Park, PA – 10February2009 – UNIPHEYE MUSIC, LLC proudly announces the release of SMRD – Studio Master Reference Disc. Latest Technology brings the listener one step closer to sitting in the same room with the musicians.

SMDR - Studio Master Reference Disc - from UNIPHEYE MUSIC are Ultra-High Resolution, actual digital copies of the original master recording delivered to the listener on data-only DVD-R discs that will be uploaded onto a computer or computer music server and played from the computer directly through the music reproduction system in the home.

UNIPHEYE MUSIC has released an exciting new format that allows digital recording technology to bring the listener much closer to the music listening and music making experience. It may surprise some to learn that that process of making the compact disc actually produced music with significantly degraded sound quality from the way in which it was recorded in the studio and concert hall. A process called down-sampling.
